Midweek Update as Lauren sets incredible 800m record, and boys star at Sunderland

Team Blyth had George and Alastair racing the Sunderland 5k on Thursday night, with both coming away with great PBs and positions in the men's race. George 15.50 and Alastair 16.15.

Henry also took part in the junior run and ran 2.5k in 10.20 coming home in 18th position.

Well done to Lauren, who smashed her PB with a huge 2:08.57 over 800m at Trafford on Tuesday night at the BMC Gold Standard meeting. Lauren has been working hard over the last couple of years to break the 2:10 barrier - and she absolutely smashed it!
