Ben and India take home awards at NEGP presentation!

It was a night to celebrate for Ben Compton and India Gorvett, as they received awards for their performances at this years North East Grand Prix. Athletes scored points based on their performances over the 6 meetings throughout the summer season. Ben finished as U13 boys champion, after a season that saw him pick up ten age group wins. India took an excellent 4th in the U13 girls category, all the more impressive as she has another year in the age group. The top six athletes in each age group were awarded trophies, with Safia Diallo (8th U13) and Lauren Creaby (7th U17) just outside the top six.
